Cator Woolford Gardens

For your next special event, escape to the Cator Woolford Gardens, a unique Southern oasis near the heart of the city — and support the Frazer Center's mission to help the developmentally disabled at the same time.

Located among 33 acres of mature hardwood forest only a few minutes drive from the heart of downtown Atlanta, the Cator Woolford Gardens are situated on one of the few remaining intact historic estates in Atlanta.

Redesigned in 1996 as a series of outdoor “rooms,” the gardens are ideal for ceremonies, receptions, benefits, corporate events, banquets or rehearsal dinners.

Guests will be surrounded by beautiful dogwoods, roses, rhododendrons and azaleas as they stroll through manicured lawns and a picturesque garden. An Italian-styled pavilion offers more than 700 square feet of indoor space accompanied by an elegant 30' x 40' white tent to create an intimate setting for any event.

In addition to the gardens, the Atrium, located in the main building at the top of the hill, offers a beautiful reception hall for your guests, with 3,000 square feet of indoor space, a vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The gardens are open to the public except when events are scheduled, so call us today or come stroll the hidden paths and cobble-stone bridges yourself, and find out how this “secret” garden can bring a restive, natural beauty to your next gathering.
